River Region Human Services, Inc., (RRHS), established in 1972 as a private, non-profit 501-(c)-3 corporation, provides a comprehensive array of substance abuse prevention, intervention, and mental health treatment, HIV/AIDS prevention, intervention and Elderly services for persons residing in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties. River Region has been licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services since incorporation, is registered with the Secretary of State and the City of Jacksonville as a charitable organization, and has been nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation and Rehabilitation (CARF) since 1993.

Our Vision-

The vision of RRHS is to improve the quality of life in Northeast Florida through partnerships with the corporate sector, government agencies, and other private non-profit organizations. Its mission is to assist people to maintain a functional and independent lifestyle free from the use of dependency producing drugs, the debilitating effects of mental disorders, the commission of anti-social and criminal activity, and the ravages of sexually transmitted diseases. Cost effective programming is designed in partnership with public and private funding sources; fees are based on a sliding scale.
